Went behind early on on a terrible surface when DC took a swing, missed the ball and connected with the player to concede a penalty. That is when the time wasting started.

We were the better team throughout but didnt equalise until the 79th minute with a bullet header by our debutant "Shug". He then coaxed a super save out of their keeper before young Ronan scored an excellent 2nd on 82 mins. Exquisite first touch and then chip, which I wasn't convinced was entirely over the line.

Cameron Lawson then made all 3 points secure with a signature rocket free kick on 92 minutes.

EK were a right shower of middens today. DD roughed up big time. Rohan kicked off the ball which should have resulted in red . Their number 8 spent last 10 and post final whistle in a state wanting a piece of DD.

Best run of results I have ever experienced in my 10 years following Lanark. 3 points off 2nd place. Players like Sean, Alan Christie and Ronan have been extremely versatile this season, which has helped the cause massively but can't be easy for them personally.

6 games to go. Promotion very much in our hands.

An excellent 2-5 win at Dunipace in the West of Scotland with only 11 men, including Mr Brogan's 15 year old grandson who had an excellent debut at left back.

Well deserved victory, including 4 goals from Sean Gallagher and another from Alan Christie.

0-2 up after 12 minutes. Gareth Halford saved the penalty he gave away shortly thereafter but we were pegged back to 2-2 by half time.  Their keeper had 2 excellent saves just before the break. We then missed 4 decent chances early in the 2nd half before taking the lead once again.

Our 3rd  penalty was a joke, Ronan being fouled well outside the box. Wasn't close!

Our unbeaten run continues which we take into a critical away game at EK.

Despite losing a goal in the second minute Lanark went on to dominate the game and played some nice football to boot.  At last we managed to score a penalty for our opener via Paul Burns.

Vale of Leven 1 - 2 Lanark Utd

Lanark again made hard work of this but perseverance paid off with two goals in the second half after going in at half time one down to one of only two Vale chances throughout the game. Sorry about the quality of the photos today but it was damp and miserable.

Two shots of Cameron Lawson's goal from a quality free kick.  Dubious penalty and sending off but we still managed to miss. Winner result of some great passing.

Well done.

Lanark Utd 0-0 Port Glasgow

This was a rather uneventful game which was easy to predict would end goalless after watching the first 15 minutes.  Lanark had slightly the better chances and the Port keeper made one tremendous save and Cameron Lawson headed onto the bar but otherwise it was a rather forgetable game.
