Last game of the season. All or nothing.
Can't recall ever beating Gartcairn, so a good time to start. If we win we should go up but not mathematically certain. Results elsewhere could see us go up tomorrow IF we take care of business ourselves.
What will be will be.
Two games to go.
Our promotion rivals Gartcairn and Carluke have had good weeks not dropping points despite a punishing fixture schedule. Can we make the benefit of having not played since last weekend pay off for us at what is normally a happy hunting ground?
All in our own hands.
Good luck to the lads. Hoping we can put out a full squad tomorrow.
Having missed my first game of the season last weekend I hope to see us back to winning ways at a ground where we have done well at in recent seasons.
3 games to go. Promotion in our hands but cannot afford any more slip ups.

Another must win league game against difficult opposition. Venue is Tileworks Park, STONEHOUSE.
For me, the main aim was to give players who hadn't been playing a game, emerge injury free and get no yellow/red cards. A result would be a bonus.
We achieved all this and more. Thoroughly deserved our victory and we got a good performance too against a higher division, albeit poor Greenock. Not out starting 11 with no Cammy, Davie C nor Paul Burns nor indeed the enigma known as Shug! Finished the natch with 2 15 year olds.
First goal a penalty on the stroke of half time from yet another penalty taker, Andrew Creilly. Two excellent goals from young Ronan plus two shots against the woodwork with the keeper beaten by DD sealed the victory.
Another excellent performance from our keeper Gareth who has made such a difference to us. Must take my hat off to Alan Christie who gets used and abused in all sorts of positions. He gets on with it and steps up to do the right thing by the team.
Through to the next round in the knowledge that Carluke lost in the league against lowly Ashfield which puts promotion back in our own hands.

2 pm kick off at Moor Park, Lanark where we take on the league leaders.
This was a game of two halves. We should have been out of sight by half time, spurning 3 good chances inside the first 2 minutes alone.
Goals by Ronan and the returning Shug saw us go in 2 up at half time, largely restricting Carluke to long range shots that Gareth dealt with comfortably.
We stopped playing 2nd half after DD missed another great chance to put us 3 up. Heroics from Gareth kept us in it before and after we conceded in the 72nd minute. Lost count of the number of saves and blocks he made. Unquestionably the Man of the Match on Saturday.
We may have played poorly but it was great to grind out yet another great result which is not something Lanark have been renowned for over the 10 years I have been watching them. This is a quality needed if we are to have any success.
Well done to all involved. Onwards and upwards.

League duty continues at the Ashfield "Peugot" Stadium with a 2pm kick off.
Our unbeaten run has come to an end but better to be in the WoS than the league as promotion is the target.
Weakend side yesterday with no Ronan and Cammy subbed at HT as a precaution. Young debutant - Dale(?) on the left but didn't have any impact.
Alan Christie continued to show his versatility playing up front and caused quite a few problems. DD was superb yesterday and scored an excellent equaliser courtesy of a precision pass from Kieran.
Gareth continued his good form keeping us in the game with important saves and blocks. A very physical keeper. Young Martin Smith did not look out of place at left back, making his 2nd appearance, wearing proper boots - good lad!
Hate watching games at Gartcairn. Another reason to get promoted. Big one is next weekend.
