Dunipace 0 v LANARK 4-

Two games to go.

Our promotion rivals Gartcairn and Carluke have had good weeks not dropping points despite a punishing fixture schedule. Can we make the benefit of having not played since last weekend pay off for us at what is normally a happy hunting ground?

All in our own hands.

Good luck to the lads. Hoping we can put out a full squad tomorrow.

Very good performance today. Comfortable win with a depleted squad. DD would have had a field today had he been playing.
Paul Burns got us off to a good start with an early stonewall penalty.
The legend that is Shug made a great comeback, winning the penalty.
Ronan put us 2 up before half time and scored a 2nd in the 2nd half. Shug made it 3 in 3 games.
We had a fright when keeper Gareth went to ground with an ankle injury but thankfully he recovered. My man of the match was young Peter. He was excellent today.

One game to go and we are now favourites to take the 3rd promotion place.

EK need to win all their games to go up, starting at champions Perthshire next week.

Don't recall us ever beating Gartcairn so, despite their surprise defeat today we need to do the business next weekend and not rely upon others.

Shame that Alan Christie has suffered such a bad injury and won't be able to help us next weekend.

Regardless of the outcome, I have enjoyed this season. We have some good footballers and an excellent keeper. The last time we lost a league game, other than to champions Perthshire was the 17th September which is a record to be proud of. Had we turned a couple of our draws into wins then we'd have been up by now.
